What file types can I upload to create presentations?

You can upload PDF, Word (DOCX), or PowerPoint (PPT/PPTX) files to create AI-generated presentations. Our AI engine will extract text and images from your files and incorporate them into the generated slides.

Important Upload Guidelines:

  • File size limit: 10 MB (Free Starter Plan) / 40 MB (Pro Plan)
  • Page limit: Less than 100 pages (applies to Pro Plans)
  • Character limit: 150,000 characters (applies to Pro Plans)
  • Content restrictions: Our AI engine may block uploads containing offensive or harmful content
Do you offer free credits to try the product?

Yes! We offer free credits when you sign up, so you can explore the product before making any payment. This allows you to test our AI-powered presentation creation and see if it meets your needs.

How do I create a presentation in a specific language?

You can create a presentation in any supported language by selecting your preferred language from the drop-down menu when entering the prompt or after uploading a document.

Note: Once a presentation is created, our system does not currently support translation. However, this feature is on our roadmap for future updates.

Trouble logging in?

If you signed up using a social login (Google, LinkedIn, or MS Teams), all subsequent logins must be done using the same method. You do not need a password to log in—simply select the same social login option you used during signup.

  • Subscribe to a paid plan to unlock 5000+ credits, or invite friends with your referral link to earn 200 credits when user activation happens (first deck creation)
  • Free accounts can have up to 5000 credits at once per user. As you spend credits, you can keep earning more. There's no limit to how much you can earn overall. 
What do you get with a Pro subscription?

Pro Annual Subscriptions Available:

  • Single-User Annual License
  • Multi-User Annual Licenses (5, 10, 25, or 50 users)

Single-User Pro Annual License:

  • Includes 5,000 credits per year
  • Creating a slide: 5 credits
  • Exporting a slide to PowerPoint (PPT): Additional 5 credits
  • Exporting to PDF or images: No credits required
  • With 5,000 credits, you can create and export up to 500 slides annually

Credits for Multi-User Annual Licenses:

  • 1 user → 5,000 credits/year
  • 5 users → 10,000 credits/year
  • 10 users → 20,000 credits/year
  • 25 users → 50,000 credits/year
  • 50 users → 100,000 credits/year

Need More Credits? Additional credits can be purchased within the product.

How do credits work in the Pro plan?

Credits are provided on a yearly or quarterly basis depending on your plan. No credits are required for manual editing of slides.

How Credits Are Used:

  1. Creating a slide → 5 credits per slide
  2. Exporting a slide to PowerPoint (PPT) → 5 credits per slide
  3. Using AI features (e.g., image generation) → Credits may apply
  4. Exporting to PDF → No credits required
What happens if I run out of credits?

If you run out of credits, you can purchase additional credits directly within the product.

How to Buy More Credits:

  1. Go to Settings → Plan and Billing
  2. Select the option to purchase additional credits
  3. Complete the payment, and the credits will be added to your account
Do you offer monthly subscriptions?

Currently, we do not offer monthly subscriptions. Our plans are available on an annual or quarterly basis.

Do you offer a free trial?

Unfortunately, we do not offer a free month trial. However, we provide free credits when you sign up, allowing you to test the product before making a payment decision.

You can subscribe anytime to start using the full features. Our plans allow cancellation at any time.

Do you offer educational plans?

We currently have a standard pricing plan available for all users. If you have specific requirements for an educational plan, please reach out to support@presentations.ai, and our team will be happy to assist you.

Cancellation and refund policy

Our policy does not allow refunds due to the following reasons:

  • Trial Before Purchase: We offer free credits when you sign up, so you can explore the product before making a payment
  • Transparent Purchase Process: The plan details, credits, and pricing are clearly outlined before confirming the purchase
  • Nature of the Product: Since our platform allows users to create, publish, and export presentations, refunds are not feasible

How to cancel auto-renewal

To turn off auto-renewal for your subscription:

  1. Navigate to 'Settings'
  2. Go to 'Plans and Billing'
  3. Click on 'Cancel Renewal'

Creating & Editing

Can I add new slides after generating a presentation?

How to Add a New Slide:

  1. Click on the '+' icon to the right of any slide
  2. Select the slide type you want to add
  3. Insert content, images, or videos as needed
Can AI generate new slides for an existing presentation?

Currently, AI cannot generate new slides once a presentation has been created. However, you can:

  • Modify the outline before generating the presentation – AI will create slides based on your input
  • Manually add new slides using available slide templates

AI-powered slide creation and editing for existing presentations is on our product roadmap and will launch soon!

Can I copy slides between presentations?

Currently, merging presentations or copying slides from one presentation to another is not supported within the platform. Copied slides may not be saved when reopening the presentation.

Alternative Solution (For Pro Users):

  • Export both presentations to PowerPoint (PPT)
  • Merge or copy/paste slides manually within PowerPoint

We are actively working on enabling this functionality in future updates.

How do I replace or change an image?

  • Click on the image in the slide
  • From the contextual menu, select 'Replace' or 'Upload'
  • If you select 'Replace':
  • Search for images using a prompt/keyword
  • Use previously uploaded images
  • Upload a new image

How do I resize images and text?

How to Resize an Image:

  • Double-click on the image
  • Use the slider in the contextual menu to adjust the size
  • Alternatively, click 'Resize' and select:
  • Fit to Canvas: Adjusts the image to fit within the slide
  • Fill to Canvas: Expands the image to cover the entire slide

How to Adjust Text Size:

  • Click on the text box
  • Use the contextual menu to increase or decrease the text size
How do I delete individual elements from a slide?

To remove specific elements without deleting the entire slide:

  • Click on 'More Options' (three-dot menu) at the top right of the slide
  • Select 'Ungroup Slide' to separate the components
  • Click on the element you want to delete and press Delete

⚠️ Important: Once a slide is ungrouped, elements cannot be regrouped. Regrouping functionality is planned for a future update.

Can I create charts and diagrams?

Yes! Presentations.AI offers a variety of charts and diagrams to support your visualization needs.

How to Add Charts & Diagrams:

  • Click on 'Add Slide'
  • Explore the available chart, table, or diagram slides
  • Select the one that best represents your data
Can I add audio or voice-overs to my presentation?

Currently, we do not have a built-in feature for adding voice-overs, music, or audio to presentations.

As an alternative, you can use native or third-party software to add audio after exporting your presentation.

Audio recording and voice-over features are on our product roadmap and will be launched in a future update.

Can I embed videos in my presentation?

I accidentally deleted a presentation. Can I recover it?

Currently, there is no way to recover a deleted presentation within the product. However, our support team can help restore it.

How to Request a Restoration: Please write to support@presentations.ai and share the title of the presentation you accidentally deleted. Our team will work on restoring it within 1-2 business days.

🚀 We are exploring the best solution to introduce a recovery feature in upcoming updates.

Exporting & Sharing

How to export slides to PPT for free?

Currently, exporting to PowerPoint (PPT) requires a Pro license. However, we offer four free ways to share your presentations:

Free Sharing Options:

  • Export to PDF (Limited & Watermarked)
  • Available only in Google Chrome
  • Go to Share Menu → Click on "Free PDF Export"
  • Exports a low-resolution, watermarked PDF for free
2. Share a Link: Generate a live presentation link that anyone can view (optionally password protected)
3. Post on Social Media: Share your presentation as a link with custom messaging
4. Embed on a Website/Blog: Add your live presentation as a widget with custom size options

Pro Export & Sharing Options:

  • Export single or multiple PPTs
  • Export high-quality PDFs (editable, high-fidelity, and watermark-free)
How do I publish and share my presentation?

To publish a presentation and share it with others:

  1. Open the presentation
  2. Click on "Share" in the top-right corner
  3. Select "Share a link"
  4. Copy the link and share it with others
Why are animations missing in the exported PPT?

  • Within-Slide Animations (Object Animations) → ✅ Supported
  • These are included in the exported PPT with animations
  • Use the second PPT download link in the email we sent you
  • The first link provides a PPT without animations; the second includes them

2. Between-Slide Transitions → ❌ Not Supported

  • PowerPoint does not support these transitions in exported files
  • Slide transitions are lost when exporting to PPT

How to Retain Animations:

  • If you present directly from our product, all animations are retained
  • You also gain access to analytics showing how many users viewed your presentation
Can I download and export the same presentation multiple times?

If you purchased a single presentation:

  • PowerPoint (PPT) Export: The payment covers export of a single presentation, which can be exported only once
  • PDF Export: You can edit and export to PDF as many times as you like
  • Word Export: Currently not supported

If you are on a Pro subscription plan:

  • You can export multiple presentations to PPT
  • Each PPT export consumes credits (5 credits per slide)
  • PDF exports remain unlimited
Can I export presentations as videos?

Currently, Presentations.AI does not support exporting presentations as videos. This feature is not available at the moment, but we are always working on expanding our export options.

How to remove password protection from a presentation

To enable or disable password protection for a published presentation:

  • Open the presentation
  • Click on 'Share' in the top-right corner
  • Navigate to 'Share a link'
  • Click on 'Apply Security Settings'
  • Toggle the switch for 'Password-protect your presentation' to disable it
Is there a speaker view available?

Currently, there is no separate speaker view in the platform. However, you can access speaker notes while presenting:

  • Click on the Play button to start the presentation
  • From the bottom-right corner, click on Settings
  • Select Speaker Notes from the menu

This will display your speaker notes, but it will not open a dedicated speaker view.

How do I change the background color of a slide?

To Change Background Color for One Slide:

  1. Click on the 'Color' option at the bottom left of the slide
  2. Explore the available color options
  3. Select the one that best meets your requirements

Note: Currently, you cannot change the background color of all slides at once. Each slide's background needs to be adjusted individually.

We are working on adding bulk customization options in future updates.

How do I change the font type?

You can change the font type by following these steps:

  1. Open the right-side toolbar
  2. Navigate to Themes
  3. Click on Font
  4. Select your desired font for the presentation
How do I change the font size?

  1. Select the textbox you want to edit
  2. Use the font size options in the contextual menu or settings panel to increase or decrease the size

⚠️ Limitations:

  • Text size cannot be changed for multiple textboxes at once—you'll need to adjust each individually
  • There is no option to set a default font size for the entire presentation
How do I add my company logo to all slides?

You can add your company logo to the footer by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the right sidebar settings
  2. Scroll to the Footer Settings section
  3. Upload and add your logo

⚠️ Note: Not all slide layouts support footers. This is designed to maintain the overall aesthetics of the presentation. As an alternative, you can click 'Remix' (bottom right of the slide) to explore different layouts that support footers.

Custom branding & templates

We are working on a feature to upload company/custom templates, which is on our product roadmap and expected to launch in the next quarter.

Current Customization Options (Available on Pro Plans):

  • Brand Colors: Automatically incorporated when you update your company's website domain (Settings → Org Information)
  • Logos, Icons & Banners: Add your company's logos, icons, and banners to every presentation (Settings → Brand)
  • Themes & Colors: Open a presentation, navigate to 'Themes' on the right panel, and select a theme. You can also enter a HEX code to apply a custom theme color
  • Fonts: Add new fonts and create font pairings for your presentations

Need a Fully Custom Template? You can hire a team from within the product to design a custom template for you. Cost: $999 per template

How to remove the Presentations.AI logo from my presentation

If you are on a Pro plan, you can remove Presentations.AI branding from your presentation.

Steps to Remove Branding:

  • Navigate to Settings
  • Go to Branding & Customization
  • Toggle the option to remove the Presentations.AI logo
How do I change image transparency?

  • Select the image on the slide
  • Click on the settings option in the contextual menu
  • A panel will open on the right side
  • Turn on 'Show Overlay'
  • Adjust the image transparency as needed
How do I set a default presentation style?

You can set a default presentation style by following these steps:

  • Navigate to Dashboard
  • Go to Settings
  • Click on Presentation Style
  • Choose your preferred default style

Once set, every new presentation created from your account will follow this style automatically.

How to change slide transition animations

To add or change slide animations while keeping animations within sections:

  • Select a slide
  • Click on the 'Animation' option in the right sidebar
  • Choose your preferred animation type

⚠️ Note: Some slides may not support transitions, including intro slides, stacked slides, and ungrouped slides.

How do collaboration features work?

Collaboration features are exclusively available for customers with multi-user licenses on Pro plans.

How to Upgrade to a Multi-User License:

  1. Navigate to 'Settings' from the left panel
  2. Select 'Plans and Billing'
  3. Choose the number of licenses
  4. Complete the payment flow

Already on a Multi-User Plan but Unable to Add Users?

  • Ensure you are the Admin: Only admins can manage users. If you are not the admin, reach out to the account admin
  • Check for available seats: Ensure your plan has open slots for additional users
  • Still facing issues? Reach out to support@presentations.ai
Can I purchase an additional license (e.g., 2 users)?

Currently, our multi-user licenses are available in pre-set options for 5, 10, 25, or 50 users. Unfortunately, we do not offer a 2-license option at this time.

Options Available:

  • If you need fewer than 5 licenses, you may start with individual Pro plans
  • For custom solutions, please reach out to support@presentations.ai

Credits & Billing

Why did my credits reduce? Can I make presentations for free?

You can check your credit usage by navigating to: 📍 Settings → Plan and Billing → View History

Credit Usage Breakdown:

  • Each slide creation consumes 5 credits
  • Exporting each slide to PowerPoint (PPT) consumes 5 additional credits (if you are on a Pro plan)
  • Exporting to PDF does not consume any credits

Can I Create Presentations for Free?

  • If you are on a free plan, you can create presentations until you run out of credits. Once credits are used up, you'll need to subscribe to Pro
  • If you are on a Pro plan and run out of credits, you can purchase more credits from within the product
Why did my credits decrease immediately after purchase?

To check your credit usage: 📍 Go to Settings → Plan and Billing → View History

Please allow a few seconds for the credit history to load. Initially, you may see "No Credit History", but the details will appear shortly.

Possible Reasons for Credit Deduction:

  • Slide Creation: Our system consumes 5 credits per slide
  • Previous Negative Balance: If you attempted to create a presentation before subscribing and ran out of credits, your balance may have gone negative. When you purchased more credits, the system automatically adjusted the negative balance

Missing purchased credits

Troubleshooting Steps:

  • Verify Your Account & Workspace:
  • Ensure you are on the account linked to your Pro plan
  • If you have multiple workspaces, switch by going to Dashboard → Click on the dropdown (top left) to select the correct workspace

2. Check If You Are Logged in With the Correct Account: Make sure you're logged in with the same email/account used to purchase the credits

3. Review Credit Usage: Navigate to Settings → Plan and Billing → View History to check how credits have been used

How to get a payment receipt or invoice

For Subscriptions: The invoice is automatically emailed to your registered email shortly after purchase. If you haven't received it, please check your spam/junk folder or reach out to support@presentations.ai.

For Single Presentation or Credit Purchases: Invoices are not automatically generated for these purchases. If you need an invoice, please email support with your payment reference details.

How to update invoice information

To update your invoice details and generate an updated invoice:

  1. Write to us from your registered email address at support@presentations.ai
  2. Include the complete details that need to be updated

Payment failure while upgrading to Pro

  • Transaction declined by the bank: Your bank may have blocked the transaction
  • Incorrect payment details: Ensure that the card details entered are accurate
  • Card does not support international transactions: Some cards may have restrictions on international payments

Pro plan not activated after payment

If you've subscribed to the Pro plan but still see the "Upgrade to Pro" notification, here are a few things to check:

  1. Verify Your Purchase Type: Check if your payment was for a Pro subscription or a single presentation purchase. Single presentation purchases do not unlock Pro features
  2. Check Your Logged-in Email: Ensure you are logged in with the same email used to subscribe to the Pro plan
  3. Check Workspaces: If you have multiple workspaces, your Pro plan might be active in a different one
  4. Go to the Dashboard
  5. Click on the dropdown in the top left to switch workspaces

4. SEPA Payment Delay: If your payment was made via SEPA, processing can take longer. Please reach out to support@presentations.ai for account activation

Deleted slides reappearing after editing

Images not retained from uploaded documents

Our system is designed to automatically extract and incorporate images from uploaded documents into the AI-generated presentation.

If images were not retained, please share the document(s) you uploaded with our support team at support@presentations.ai. This will help us investigate and ensure the AI properly recognizes and positions images in your presentation.

Is my organization's data safe?

  1. Your presentation is not shared with other users/customers
  2. We do not use your presentation to train our AI models
How to change your email address

Currently, you cannot change your email address directly within the product. However, we can transfer your subscription to your new email.

How to Transfer Your Subscription:

  1. Sign up for a new account using your new email address
  2. Once you've signed up, reach out to support@presentations.ai and request the transfer

Your subscription and purchased presentations will be moved to your new account within 2-3 business days.

Changing login method from social login

When you sign up using a social login (Google, LinkedIn, or MS Teams), all subsequent logins must be through the same authentication method.

Currently, you cannot switch from a social login to a username/password method. If you want to use a different login method, the only option is to create a new account with your preferred authentication method.

Request for data deletion

If you wish to delete your account and permanently erase all associated personal data, you can do so at any time.

Steps to Delete Your Account:

  1. Log in to presentations.ai
  2. Navigate to Settings from the left panel
  3. Select Your Account
  4. Scroll down and click 'Yes, delete my account'

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • This action is irreversible – once deleted, your account and all records will be permanently removed from our system
  • If you are on a Pro plan, deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Your subscription will remain active until the expiry date
Lost subscription after deleting account
